For her the smile or the tears without cause! For me the real worries! For me the sacrifice and its burning vigil, The silence and the boredom of not expressing anything, Like the novice lover who thinks it's wonderful That one day one can love him! For me to no longer read on her pale face The stormy signs of a celestial future! For her the treasures of melancholy, The peace of memory; A remorseless sleep with the faithful swarm And the light dreams of a love without fear! Love! golden bee! oh all the honey for her, And the sting for me!"
