In-4 Italian style, green percaline illustrated with a large composition in colour and gold on the first plate, green edges (Binding of the publisher). Mennessier de La Lance, II-558 /// 49-(1f.). Work of the painter Dominique Barthelemy, painter and equestrian draughtsman, under the pseudonym of Thélem. It is decorated on each page with drawings illustrating the story of the creation and the collapse of a racing stable. A fine copy despite some minor wear to the first cover and a small tear to one leaf. Attached : CARAN D'ACHE. Les Courses dans l'Antiquité. Paris, Plon, s.d. (around 1900). 63-(1f.). In-8 Italian style, illustrated yellow percaline of the publisher. Copy partly disbound, with tear to 4 leaves. Percaline faded and soiled. - Charles DIGUET. Memoirs of a hare. Paris, Frinzine, 1886.
