Claire LAERT (Born 1957) Stylized woman, Patinated bronze proof signed, foundry stamp A.N.P.I.R.E on the base, justified 4/8, H. 21.5 cm Flemish-born sculptor Claire Laert was born in 1957. She has taken part in group exhibitions in Barbizon, Arcachon, La Tranche sur mer and Vincennes. She mainly creates androgynous figures with smooth, airy, free forms, all round, in hieratic attitudes. Provenance: purchase invoice dated 20.07.1987 from the caverne des arts in Chantilly.
