Important, rather fine and old Kirman (Iran) early 20th century. Wool velvet on cotton foundation. Decorated with an original ivory field of fine branches with a thousand polychrome flowers framing a large central rosette with a finely drawn multicolored floral crown. Four midnight-blue spandrels with ruby flower bulbs. Five borders, the main one beige, with decoration echoing the central field. Some oxidation and light natural wear 370 x 270 cm
