An odor bottle with an oblong rock crystal body and 750°/°°° yellow gold ornamentation chased with foliate scrolls adorned with cabochons of emeralds, sapphires, rubies, crowned roses and half-pearls in a closed setting. The sides are flanked by two winged chimeras, their bodies ending in a leafy sheath, their open mouths revealing their tongues. The base is decorated with staples enhanced with foliage. Foreign work, probably Swiss. Weevil hallmark and Austro-Hungarian import hallmark from 1872 for foreign works in gold.
